River Ishikari was the first one to clear, as I have written in previous entry. I guess I still wanted the ugly afro wig in the end, so I went back there today and fished some more, trying to get silver carps. The 12th silver carp is the one that finally decided to give me the wig.

I mean, I still think that the wig is ugly, but again it could be the concept of "kawaii" that an American guy like me would never be able to grasp. But honestly, just because it has the anemone fish, doesn't automatically turn an ugly wig to a cute one!

It's always nice to finish up the game with beating the boss! The Ogasawara was the next stop I went. The striped marlin was the last one I needed to reel in, which is kind a cool, cuz in a way it adds the "final" tone to it. I didn't encounter this boss with regular paste baits, so I had to use my precious fishing point to get the shrimp baits. It turned out to be the right thing to do, cuz voila, the first fish that had bitten the bait was the boss!! Woot!

Got my award for completing Ogasawara for beginners!! I love this cap, it sort of reminds me of a hat that Ash of the Pokemon series had worn! (LOL)

For Japanese Sea, I had Greater amberjack left. It was the same thing with the silver carps of the Ishikari river. Yep, I couldn't encounter at all with my usual paste baits. So, again I had to use my fishing point to get the shrimp baits for Japanese sea. Sure enough, right after I switch the bait, I caught the Greater amberjack, clearing the beginner's course of the Japanese Sea!

Yep, I got the pink pearl award. I still wonder, why the amoeba chose the color pink... I mean, of all the colors!!! Well, still I am a happy camper for now.
