センター試験と大雪
大学入試センター試験が1月に行われました。

当日の土曜日と日曜日は大雪となり、受験者の皆さんは大変苦労したと思います。
公共交通機関も遅れや不通となり、試験会場の試験開始時刻に間に合わない受験者も
多くいた様です。
試験開始時刻を遅らせた試験会場も有りましたが、受験者の皆さんは日ごろの実力が
発揮できない人も多くいたのではないかと思います。
事前に会場近くのビジネスホテルを予約していた受験者は、危険予知が充分できていた
と思います。おそらく準備万端。良い試験結果になったことでしょう。
また試験会場に遅れた人は、気持ちが焦ったことでしょう。
試験は本来の実力が出なかったかもしれません。
でも、テストの結果がどうであれ、今後志望校へ入学できなくても悲観することはありません。
有名大学に入れなくても、人生は長いのですから・・・。
今の時代、受験者は９９％どこかしらの大学に合格できるのですから選り好みしないことです。
大学卒業後、入社と昇進時には学歴が左右することは事実ですが、有名大学を出ても会社生活は
自分の思うようになることは少なく、長く勤めて退職時にはじめて学歴の是非が分かるのです。
それは、入社から４０年間出世街道を歩む人は非常に少ないからです。
国家公務員やキャリアの生き残りゲームを見れば、想定できるかと思います。
出世街道から脱落した人でも途中退職、出向、自立経営、議員立候補など探し歩むことで、
自分の人生の価値を求めることの方が重要だと思います。
将来にわたって、日本経済が安定して成長することは望めないので、個人の実力重視に
よるところが学歴よりも重要な時代だと言えます。
ところで、大学入試センター試験はなぜ1月に行うのでしょうか？
わざわざ雪のリスクの多い1月に行う必要は無いと思うのですが。
べつに12月でも11月でも大して変わらないと思うのですが。
・大学入試センターの色々な準備が間に合わないからでしょうか？
・受験内容と高校教育内容の整合性を合せる為でしょうか？
・文部科学省の方針が変わらないからでしょうか？
私が文部科学大臣なら１１月に大学入試センター試験をして、各大学の試験を12月にするように
提案します。
そうすれば、受験者ものんびり正月から卒業まで人生を楽しむことができます。
また、大学奨学金を借りる人も3～４ヶ月間アルバイトできれば借金も少なく成ります。
借金の返済が出来ず自己破産の人も減るはずです。

また、この3～４ヶ月間に勉強以外の生活の知恵を擬似体験し習得が必要です。
例えば、労働基準法の勉強やブラック企業に騙されない知識、一人住まいの料理、洗濯など
アパートで自炊の基礎知識。ごみの分別。寮生活の過ごし方。
バイクや自動車の安全運転と飲酒運転禁止やタバコと健康、食生活と病気、性的感染予防、
犯罪における刑罰など。多くのことを知る必要があります。
おかしな宗教勧誘やマルチ商法に騙されない学習など学校教育で学ばない知識を
身に着ける事が大学生活で失敗しない礎となるからです。
仮にコンビニでアルバイトをしても、時間外労働で給料を払わない店長がいれば労働基準法を知って
いることが大変役立ちます。我慢せず、即労働基準局に連絡できる知識が有るからです。
また有名大学の学生が、ばかな犯罪をするのは社会常識の教育がされていないためです。
受験勉強を終えて自由な時間と開放感が心に魔が指し、犯罪を犯すのでしょうか？
大学受験の知識と共に、社会生活する上で重要な知恵やマナーを身に付ける必要があるのです。
１８歳以上の選挙権があるのですから日本の教育を考えてくれる議員、政党にぜひ投票したいものです。
