The system in which JA Bank diligently collected deposits from non-farmers and then redirected them to Agriculture and Forestry to increase its profits has collapsed.
If Norinchukin Bank were to go bankrupt, the debt would spread to JA Bank, which would be unable to repay farmers' deposits.
