This was a really fun shot with a bunch of people! We were planning to shoot outside, because the studio we wanted to rent was already taken that day, but then it was funny to find out that actually I know the people who rented it, and they were kind enough to let us shoot with them for a while! After that we did some shots outside.

I'm using only one softbox, and we've been shooting quickly because the place is in a deartment store, and I wanted to be able to move quickly!

Here is my next shoot at that awesome location, Mayakan / マヤカン It’s really hard to fund such locations around, and I’m trying to use it in a different way anytime I go!
I shoot a lot of the shots in the set with HDR, which I think was interesting to do! I have the information how I make them in the strobist info, which here is not so much strobist actually! ;)

We were planning to go to a really cool location – Tomogashima Island (友ヶ島), an abandoned island close to Wakayama, but it was bad luck that day, that because of the weather the ship was stopped, and we ended inland, searching for a new location in that area!
We found that place, which is times smaller than the island, but had a few brick houses similar to those of the island, and did the shoot there!
This is not photoshopped, it’s all in the camera! She was dancing and moving around, while I was trying to move with her, and at the same time I was zooming out, to get that effect! I’m using very slow shutter speed of about 1/10th of a second (no ND filters, it was dark enough to get it that slow) and I had to be very tricky to get her sharp. I also have a softbox on the left side, which is freezing her motion good!
