この手のオムニバスでは、イギリス、アメリカ双方でヒットした曲が選曲されやすいのですが、本作はそれにこだわらず。
更に一発ヒット、レア曲を収録しており、全曲知っている人は相当のUKチャート・マニア。
久々に知らない曲ばかりの80ｓオムニバスで、1/3は初めて聴く曲でした。
特にダンス、ヒッ・ホップ系をメインに収録したDisc3は、知っている曲の方が少ないくらい。
輸入盤に多いデジパックの簡易仕様なので、歌詞対訳などはありません。良質なリマスターで有名なRHINO絡みなので、音質は良くおススメです。
