Makita Expands Growing Line-Up Of 18V LXT Brushless

Welcome to a Laptop Battery specialist of the HITACHI Battery

Makita, a worldwide manufacturer of technologically advanced power tools that are more compact with less weight yet deliver industrial strength power and results, has expanded its line-up of 18V Lithium-Ion Brushless Motor tools with the new 18V LXT Brushless Impact Driver (LXDT08) and 18V LXT Brushless Motor Hammer Driver-Drill (LXPH05). Both tools are engineered with Makita LXT Brushless Motor Technology, optimized to deliver up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed, and longer tool life.

The new LXT Brushless tools are part of Makita’s 18V LXT Series, with 50+ cordless tools powered by one fast-charging 18V Lithium-Ion battery like Makita 9600 Battery , Makita 9000 Battery , Makita DA392D Battery , Makita 8400D Battery , Makita T220D Battery , Makita 7000 Battery , Makita 6010D Battery , Makita BMR100 Battery , Makita UM1000D Battery , Makita UH3000D Battery , Makita ML702 Battery , Makita DA3000D Battery .

"Makita continues to be the undisputed market leader in 18 volt Lithium-Ion and in Brushless Motor technology," said Ethan Haughawout, Makita Product Manager, Cordless Tools. "These two new LXT Brushless tools are the latest options for contractors who demand more performance out of their cordless tools. All of the other power tool companies are still playing catch-up."

Makita BL Brushless Motor Technology

Makita is the innovation leader in brushless motor technology. In 2003, Makita created brushless tools for assembly work in the defense and aerospace industries. In 2009 Makita delivered an 18V LXT Brushless Motor Impact Driver for contractors. Makita’s efficient BL Brushless motor is electronically controlled to optimize battery energy use for up to 50% longer run time per charge than similar non-brushless tools. Electronic controls efficiently use battery energy to match torque and RPM to the changing demands of the application for increased power and speed when needed. And since there are no carbon brushes, the BL Brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life.

18V LXT Lithium-Ion Cordless Impact Driver (LXDT08)

The new LXDT08 is engineered with an efficient BL Brushless Motor with variable speed that delivers 1,420 in.lbs. of Max Torque, 0-3,200 impacts per minute, and 0-2,500 RPM for a wide range of fastening applications. The LXDT08 has an excellent power-to-weight ratio with a compact design (5-7/8" long) and less weight (only 3.4 lbs., with battery).

Consistent with all Makita impact tools, the proprietary hammer and anvil impact mechanism in the LXDT08 is manufactured using the best raw materials with the highest quality steel and unique heat hardening process for maximum fastening and driving power.

"Makita has been the market leader in cordless impact tools since their US release in 1988," said Haughawout. "The LXDT08 is the latest in a long line of Makita impact products built with best-in-class engineering."

Ease-of-use features include a ¼" hex chuck for quick bit changes. It also has a built-in L.E.D. light that helps illuminate the work surface, and a tool belt clip that can attach to either side of the tool. The LXDT08 features a new rubberized grip, redesigned for improved comfort and ideal for anyone working a full day on the job site.
