The new VJ01W is the latest addition to Makita’s 12V max Lithium-Ion cordless line-up, delivering power and speed in a compact size.

Power and Speed
The new VJ01W is powered by a Makita-built motor that delivers 0-2,400 strokes per minute, with a variable speed control dial that enables the user to match the speed to the application. With 3 orbital settings plus straight cutting, the VJ01W is ideal for cutting a wide range of materials.
Compact Size with Improved Dust Collection
The VJ01W has a through-the-body dust port for use with a vacuum to provide efficient dust management, and a built-in dust blower to clear the line-of-cut for improved visibility. It has a compact and well-balanced design (weighs only 3.7 lbs.) with a low profile engineered for improved handling in compact areas.
Expanding 12V max Lithium-Ion Line-Up
The VJ01W is the latest addition to Makita’s 12V max Lithium-Ion cordless line-up, which includes driver-drills as well as an impact driver, impact wrench, circular saw, recipro saw, vacuum, and flashlights. Similar to the rest of Makita’s groundbreaking Lithium-Ion battery technology, the 12V max Lithium-Ion battery is charged on an ENERGY STAR qualified charger for maximum efficiency and less downtime.
Makita Lithium-Ion tools are backed by Makita’s 3-Year Warranty which covers repair due to defective materials or workmanship up to three years from the purchase date. 1-year warranty on the batteries and charger.
