Just came back from Malaysia

Before I get started on food, I finally got around to take pictures of the neighborhood

Super dusty road... It's really the epitome of "suburban"
マレージアの高速道路
Malaysia's expressways
Sorry for the blurry quality
This is roughly what the neighborhood looks like at night, with my parents walking ahead without waiting for me

This is how ceilings looked like before man decided a concrete roof was way cooler. The shaft in the middle opens!
Hmm yeah ok, I really want to get started on food now
This looks black, looks icky and disgusting, but it tastes really good

The atrocity of inflation in Singapore
Chicken rice for 2.80RM, anyone? The exchange rate's like 2.45RM to 1SGD
Green tea mooncakes. 4 for 4RM, compared to Singapore's SGD$2.50 for the same thing
Snacks. All of them are super cheap too

Oh and I saw this swirly thing and couldn't resist buying it
It's just highly addictive tapioca chips hmm
Some kind of pastry made from eggs. I forgot what it's called sorry

Ahhh *stretches* I'm tired... There's still BIO tomorrow so wish me luck 'cause I'll be needing it. BADLY.
Marinated cucumbers with crushed peanuts, commonly known as ACHAR. But this is erm... my family's version, I guess? Looks and tastes very different
