You know, I was just thinking.
Whenever we see someone on the streets, just when our focus turns itself onto a stranger, I wonder what kind of impressions form in everyone's minds. Maybe it's just part of our nature to judge people when we first see them; even if we say that we don't judge, doesn't it just mean that you're not taking any preferences?
Hmm yah, even I have my own impressions of people when I see them.
So stop trying to deny and listen for once.
Everyday we see different people around us, different people taking the bus with us, different people we brush past on the streets.
Is that merely a coincidence? Or are they fated to appear there and then?
Maybe each of us are linked somehow by some invisible thread of sorts, such that we'll meet when we're pulled together. Sometimes it's merely pulled away so we'll probably see the person again someday, but sometimes the thread breaks and we'll never meet again.
It's sad, but it happens all the time.
We can't see those threads, neither can we predict when another person will suddenly be pulled into our lives. At the same time, we can't say for sure that we'll definitely meet again someday, can we? Frustrating, yes, but that's what makes it so precious to us.
So maybe I should stop taking things for granted. If all the people around me disappear one day, I'll seriously cry(laughs). But I can't hold on forever without letting go, because there're so many other people for me to meet, I'll just have to keep walking. As do you (^∇^)
And who knows? Maybe the guy you walked past on the way back home could end up as your future husband
