Phew... Looks like we finally made it to High Lagaard.
ふぅ… やっとハイラガードに着いたみたいだな。
Our orders from the Midgard Library were, "report straight to the Guild once you arrive in High Lagaard", right?
ミズガルズ図書館から受けた命令は「ハイラガードに着いたら、真っ直ぐギルドに報告しろ」…だったよな？
We should probably get going then, huh?

I bid you welcome to the Grand Duchy of High Lagaard. Within this palace, the Duke himself presides over our fair nation.
ハイラガードの大公国へようこそ。歓迎を告げよう。この宮殿では、公爵様ご自身が 我らが公正な国を統括して下さっている。
I am Minister Dubois, vessel to the esteemed Duke. I am charged with the governance of High Lagaard.
わしはドゥボイス大臣、尊大な公爵への渡し船じゃ。ハイラガードの政治は わしが受け持っている。

I'm from the Midgard investigation team.
ミズガルズ調査隊の者です。
【Dubois】
Ah yes. The guild master has already informed me that the Midgard investigation team wishes to take the test.

This may also make a fine opportunity for you to attain the basic skills you'd need to navigate the Labyrinth.

The specifics of your mission are to create a map of the Yggdrasil Labyrinth's 1st floor.
お主らのミッションの詳細は、世界樹の迷宮1Fの地図を作ることじゃ。
Cartografic skills are de rigueur when investigation the Labyrinth. I hope for this mission to teach you those skills.

Yes. We've had problem with explorers acquiring a completed map somewhere and turning in their plagiarized maps.
いかにも。どこからか完成された地図を手に入れて、その盗用した地図を提出する冒険者たちに 頭を悩ませておってな。
The proof is a wooden token with the High Lagaard emblem engraved on it. You'll find it in a treasure box.
証拠はハイラガードの象徴が刻まれた木製のトークン（代用貨幣）じゃ。宝箱から見つけることができよう。

Then we'll be on our way.

That’s the spirit. But don’t think you’ll be conquering the Labyrinth in one pass. If you feel endangered, return at once.
その息じゃ。しかし、１度で迷宮を制覇しようとは考えてはいかんぞ。もし危険だと感じたら、一旦街へ戻ってくるんじゃ。
Establishing a sense of your limits is another significant part of this mission, after all.
己の限界を感じる力を確立することも このミッションの重要な部分であるからな。
