Donna Summer is dead
We’re shocked to hear about Donna Summer’s passing. The Queen of Disco died today at the age of 63. Summer, a five-time Grammy-winner, had been battling cancer. Donna had a number of top 10 Billboard hits, including "Hot Stuff," "She Works Hard for the Money" and "MacArthur Park." She released her last album, "Crayons," in 2008. In February 2011 Donna Summer was in Switzerland to be the guest star of Art on Ice in Zurich and Lausanne. She did a fantastic job. Donna could always get us dancing. RIP Donna Summer!
