喜多方市の下別府の霞桜です。
霞桜は見た目が一般的な桜と違い、桜と認識されないことも多い桜です。大きくならないのですが、根元の方を見ると、次々と新しい枝が出てきている様子がわかります。
次の世代に引き継ぎながら年数を重ねている桜です。復興も、私たちの世代だけでなく、次の世代に引き継ぎながら新しい福島を作っていってほしいです。
