This is Shota Hoshika, M.D., Ph.D. writing to thank you for accepting me to join your research group from next year. I also appreciate that since I was referred to you by Dr. Teruhisa Mihata, you waived my in-person interview.
I would like to focus on the biomechanics of the medial side of the elbow which I have been working on for the last several years as a postdoctoral researcher. I am, however, really open to your opinions and suggestions.
I am planning to join you in the spring of next year and will be with my wife and two kids. They are also very excited to stay and explore in the United States.
