A Week Full of Good Food, Family Time & My Long-Awaited New Subaru! 🚗💗
Hello everyone! ♡
This week was a little different from my usual routine, with several evenings out for drinks and delicious food, plenty of family time, and one very special event — the delivery of my brand-new Subaru!
Delicious Food & Nights Out with Family 🍜
It all started with dinner at Nozawaya, a restaurant run by one of my childhood friends in my hometown. I enjoyed a wonderful meal with my parents and one of my nephews. Their mapo tofu is especially delicious, but honestly, everything on the menu is worth trying!
We had so much to eat and talk about that I barely took any photos. 😂
The following days brought a few more evenings out for drinks, including a night out with my younger sister. We visited two restaurants and enjoyed some incredibly delicious food, especially the chicken dishes. Sharing good food and conversations with family is always a pleasure.
After a few indulgent evenings, I started the next morning with miso soup to give my stomach a little break. Sometimes, it's nice to slow down and let yourself recover! 😊
My Long-Awaited Subaru Has Arrived! 🚗✨
The highlight of the week was finally taking delivery of my new SUBARU LEVORG LAYBACK!
From the very first time I saw this car, I fell in love with it. We looked at many different cars, but nothing else gave me that same feeling. It was one of those instant connections where I could already picture myself driving it! 🥹💗
There were practical reasons for choosing it, too. I wanted a car that would be comfortable for my parents to get in and out of, as well as one I could rely on. Of course, its beautiful design was a huge part of the decision, too!
The staff and manager at Subaru Ebisu were wonderful throughout the entire process, making every visit a pleasure. Thank you so much for all your kindness and support!
We are officially Subaru fans now — or, as they say in Japan, Subarists! ✨ I'm absolutely delighted with our new car and the color we chose.
Cheering on My Son at Rugby 🏉
On Sunday, we took our new car out for its first family outing. We picked up my mother and headed to watch my younger son's rugby game.
Unfortunately, his team didn't win that day, but there is still more rugby ahead, and we'll keep cheering him on! 💪
After the game, my mother and I enjoyed lunch together. We shared several dishes, and watching her enjoy her food always makes me happy. Being able to spend time together like this is something I truly appreciate. 🩷
A Little Harry Potter Shopping Magic! 💙✨
On our way home, we stopped by Mahou Dokoro at Yokohama Landmark Tower, a shop filled with Harry Potter merchandise.
I'm usually a Gryffindor fan, but the new Ravenclaw items were simply too adorable to resist! 💙 I ended up buying quite a few things, although I actually managed to hold back a little. There were so many more things I wanted!
I have a feeling my new Ravenclaw bag will be one of my favorite accessories this autumn and winter. It even reminds me a little of my high school uniform at Shinagawa Joshi Gakuin. Maybe that's why I love it so much! 😊
Enjoying the Little Things 🍂
The kochia plants in our garden are beginning to turn their beautiful autumn colors, reminding me of last year's autumn outings.
Since starting work, I haven't been able to visit as many places as I used to. Still, I try to make the most of my days off by going to places I love and doing the things that make me happy.
I also have a favorite collaboration item from niko and ... that I've been using almost every day lately. When I find something I love, I tend to keep using it over and over again! 😂
Good food, time with family, a new car I've been dreaming of, and little treasures that brighten my day — this week was full of things that made me smile.
And honestly, I'm grateful for every one of them. 🩷
