七福神のひとつ恵比須神の祭礼。陰暦の十月二十日や十一月二十日などに行われる。
恵比須は、農村では田の神、漁村では漁の神、商家では商売繁盛の神で、地方によって様々な祝い事がなされる

A Japanese festival held on 20th October, in honor of Ebisu, one of the seven gods of Fortune' in Japanese Mythology.
In agrarian villages Ebisu is recognized as a god of good harvest, in fishing villages recognized as a god of boutiful fishing, and for merchant families it is a god of good commerce.
There are various celebrations depending on regions.
