さて、Nagoya Players 今年度９月舞台作品、『Untolled』の本格的なご案内を開始いたします。

ABOUT THE SHOW
Untolled is a metatheatrical, non-musical musical. Follow the cast and crew of a well-known theater troupe as they get ready to perform Tennessee Williams’ Cat on a Hot Tin Roof. Being theater people, they of course must laugh, cry, emote, spit, fight, make trouble, have trouble, spill, dish, make love, make enemies, get fired and rehired, and out and out quit… Oh, and some of them sing. This is a fast-paced show brought to you by the knucklehead who brought you Uwaki (2014), Unglued (2017), Unmarked (2019), and now Untolled on September 8th, 9th, and 10th 2023. Folks, this is theater making fun of theater and you’ll have a good time laughing at it too.

「Untolled」は、今までにないスタイルのミュージカルではない、ミュージカル。ベテラン俳優たちが、テネシーウィリアムズの「熱いトタン屋根のネコ」を制作する様子を描いています。笑いあり、涙あり、ケンカもあり、ロマンスもあり。敵対や、クビになったり戻ってきたり、飛び出して辞める者もいます。歌を歌う者もいます。
「Uwaki」（2014年）「Unglued」（2017年）「Unmarked」（2019年）を皆様にお届けした、ちょっぴりおバカな演出家が、満を持して2023年9月8.9.10日に皆様に大いに笑いをお届けします。お見逃しなく。

Untolled is an original play written by Joe Sichi. The plot centers on a theater troupe attempting to put on Cat on a Hot Tin Roof by Tennessee Williams, the Director’s favorite playwright. The production is thrown into turmoil by societal, generational, group dynamic, personal and personnel problems. Can they pull this off?

「Untolled」はジョーシキ氏によるオリジナル作品です。ジョー氏が敬愛する作品であるテネシーウィリアムズの熱いトタン屋根の上の猫をオマージュして描かれています。社会の混乱、世代間や、集団、個人、様々な問題提起が投げかけられていますが、さてどう乗り越えていくのでしょうか。
