今日は、意味を誤解していた。
新入生といったところで試験の話がでると連想し、
I know I'm passed dead line と聞こえ、入学試験に合格と勘違いした
ところが、
I know I'm past the deadline なので、
寮の申し込み期限を過ぎているという意味
ここで誤解し、最後まで誤解をひきずってしまった。

はじめて聞くような言い回しで、聞き逃すと
何度聞き返しても、そこが埋まらない。
文法的に正しくして穴埋めをしたいが、
知らない言い回しではできない。
具体的には、
You are not only asking.と聞こえたが
You are not alone in asking. が正解。
何度聞いても not alone in が、 not only に聞こえる。
ここで意味がとれないことが、次にも響く。

不動産屋には学生寮以外にもアパートや他の種類の
紹介もあると予想していたので
We have a lot of cources と聞こえ、このあと文法的に意味がつながらない。
したがってまた意味が飛ぶ。
正解は、 We have lots of calls である。

全体の大意、
部屋を借りようとしているが、大丈夫かなの質問について
多分大丈夫という回答については判ったのだが、、、
やっぱり細かいところがもっと判らないと、おもしろくない。

まだまだ実力不足。

聞きとり後、発音練習をする。
できるだけ同じように、リズムをつけて、
また、文はひとまとめに覚えてから一気に発声する。

けっこう時間かかるよ。こんな短文でも、できがわるい自分は二時間弱かかる。

英語が聞こえるまで、、、先は長いなあ、地味に続けましょう。
