子曰、不患人之不己知。患其不能也。
書き下し文
子曰(しいわ)く、人(ひと)の己(おのれ)を知(し)らざるを患(うれ)えず。其(そ)の不能(ふのう)
を患患(うれ)うるのみ。
現代語訳
老師の教え。「人が自分の能力を認めてくれない事に対して不満に思う必要は無い。自分に能力がないのを認めるがよい」
英訳
The Master's teachings, " It is not necessary to be dissatisfied with the thing that a person does not admit his ability. It is good to admit that I don't have the ability to do it."
