子曰、爲命、裨諶草創之、世叔討論之、行人子羽脩飾之、東里子產潤色之。
書き下し文
子曰(しいわ)く、命(めい)を為(つく)るに、裨諶(ひじん)之(これ)を草創(そうそう)し、
世叔(せいしゅく)之(これ)を討論(とうろん)し、行人(こうじん)の子羽(しう)之(これ)を
脩飾(しゅうしょく)し、東里(とうり)の子産(しさん)之(これ)を潤色(じゅんしょく)す。
現代語訳
老師の教え。「外交文書を作成するとき、鄭国では大夫の裨諶が草稿をつくり、大夫の世叔
がその内容を検討し、外交官の子羽
がその文章を補正し、さらに東里の子産が外交文書に最後の飾りを加えている。」
英訳
