My favorites!!!!!!!!!!
I love making earrings with collage papers. It takes quite long to make just one earring because I was born clumsy...wish I were skillful with my fingers. But I think I'm lucky that I have unique, lovely, special sense of art.
Actually, I was supposed to go to my D's bro's birthday party but D didn't tell him that I would join it so I had to stay alone...
I made three earrings.
Soooooo great that I can use whole space & time.
Now I share everything with D, well, it's ok I
just sometimes want to be alone, want to use the space by myself and keep my space messy after I made art. Because usually it's going to happen next day too - messy art works again
Oh, hey D?
Don't get me wrong.
I love you and also love to share many things with you, ok
I've lived in Kyoto for a year and made collage earrings & notebooks as I do now in Australia. I also put them at a shop to sell but it was not so easy both to sell and that my stuff is known by many people... So I tried to join the art markets which usually have heaps of unique art works, music, some yummy food etc etc.
Actually, there are heaps of markets in Kyoto - some traditional, some very contemporary
What a nice thing to join a market is that you could have a great meeting with people - artists, musicians who have same or similar sense of art
京都面白い。
寺と社だけの場所じゃない。
These days, Kyoto art markets are getting even more popular than before so it's supposed to draw lots for turns to join. You sometimes need to wait for a few months to first join.
I've just started to put my art stuff in the shop & gallery 'Bee****' on King st in Newtown. The place has heaps of handmade art stuff - unique, cute and cool.
So you'll probably find a beautiful one for you.
Mine's are cute notebooks and earings which are made of collage papers I put them together with glue and sewing machine. Actually, I really love collecting papers - some beautiful, some nice texture, some just right thinness for me.
