On a Friday, I got a phone call from my wife.
She said that "I got a car accident and the person who hit from behind tries to go off."
When I talked with my wife, I immediately noticed that the guy was sketchy...
I called the police and I headed for the scene of the accident in a moment.
In US, we do not usually need police for minor car accidents if we do not need an ambulance,
a tow car and we can exchange the driver's license and the car insurance each other.

5 minutes later...

I arrived at the place and talked with the guy. He said that he had a car insurance but he did
not bring his driver's license "today". I could not confirm if the guy was identical with the
person on the car insurance. So I waited for a plice to come for a while.
During that time, he was talking with somebody by phone in Spanish and I did not really
care. Looking back, I should have looked closely at what he was doing...

A police showed up 10 minutes later.
When my wife and I started explaining about the accident and we realized one thing...

The person stood by us was totally different from the guy who hit our car from behind!!!
The imposter wore same clothes but totally different person and he said "I hit your car"!!!

my wife and I said in chorus "Who are you!?"

My wife and I explained about many things, but the rude police said "I don't care."

In his opinion, the car insurance covered the "guy" and it would cover the cost of our car
repair and visiting a hospital, then he did not care who hit our car.
I could not believe if the car insurance covers the "guy"... Does any car insurance cover such a liar??
Can anyone believe the guy!?
But I did not want to waste our time talking with the rude police and we left the place.

Next day, I got a phone call from the car insurance company.
The representative said "The person who drove the car was not covered by our insurance".

Hey rude and fool police!!! You said you have been a police for 15 years, didn't you??
You should quit your job right now if you can't detect the odor of such a easy crime!!!

Anyway, it is consoling to think that my wife was not injured though...
