私もロックダウンになって
地球の事だけを想って考えたら、地球さん良かったねえ~って思った♡
COVID-19、このウイルスの形 よく見ると 頭がでかい人間というウイルスが 地球に刺さってるように見えるようになった。
人間というのはいかに この母なる地球にとってウイルスか。
この全世界の問題は 私にとってはヒューマンチャレンジのように思えてしかたない。会社を華やかな環境を静める期間、考える時期。車を運転しないで二酸化炭素を出さない作らない。 仕事ばかりでなく家族と向き合う時間。外食でなく家で楽しむ食事の時間に、料理の時間。空みて 鳥のさえずりがもっとよく聞こえる時間。

不安はある
孤立もある
買い占めもある
病気もある
死者も出ている
でも
武漢では、何年も続いた騒音が止み
鳥のさえずりが聴こえている
静寂から数週間しか経っていないのに
立ち込めていた煙はなくなり
すっきりとした青空が広がっている
アッシジの街では
家の窓を開けっ放しにしながら
空っぽになった広場ごしに
隣人同士が歌い合っている
家に潜んで孤独を感じている人にも
まわりの家族の気配が届くように
アイルランド西部のホテルでは
近所の人たちに食事の無料宅配をしている
知り合いの若い女の子は
高齢者の人たちの助けになるように
自分の携帯番号を載せたチラシ配布に忙しい
教会やモスク、お寺や神社では
ホームレス、病気の人、疲れ果てた人たちを
迎え入れる準備を行なっている
世界中で、人々はスローダウンし、生活を振り返っている
世界中で、人々は自分の住む場所を、新しい目で捉えている
世界中で、人々は新たな現実に目覚めている
自分たちに実はどれほど大きな力があり
自分たちが実はどれほどちっぽけな存在であり
自分たちに何が一番大切であるか、と言うことに
そして、愛する、と言うことに
だから祈り、忘れずにいよう
不安はある
でもそこに嫌悪がある必要はない
孤立もある
でも孤独に苛まれる人がいなくてもいい
買い占めもある
でもそこに意地悪する人がいなくていい
病気もある
でも心の病はなくていい
そして死もある
でもいつだって愛の生まれ変わりがある
今をどう生きるのか、その選択に目覚めよう
今日、呼吸しながら
パニックの騒音をやり過ごしたところに
鳥のさえずりが聴こえている
空は晴れ渡っている
春はすぐそこまで来ている
そして私たちは、いつだって愛に包まれている
たとえ、街の真ん中の広場に人気がなくなったとしても
心の窓を全開にして
歌え

Yes there is fear.
Yes there is isolation.
Yes there is panic buying.
Yes there is sickness.
Yes there is even death.
But,
They say that in Wuhan after so many years of noise
You can hear the birds again.
They say that after just a few weeks of quiet
The sky is no longer thick with fumes
But blue and grey and clear.
They say that in the streets of Assisi
People are singing to each other
across the empty squares,
keeping their windows open
so that those who are alone
may hear the sounds of family around them.
They say that a hotel in the West of Ireland
Is offering free meals and delivery to the housebound.
Today a young woman I know
is busy spreading fliers with her number
through the neighbourhood
So that the elders may have someone to call on.
Today Churches, Synagogues, Mosques and Temples
are preparing to welcome
and shelter the homeless, the sick, the weary
All over the world people are slowing down and reflecting
All over the world people are looking at their neighbours in a new way
All over the world people are waking up to a new reality
To how big we really are.
To how little control we really have.
To what really matters.
To Love.
So we pray and we remember that
Yes there is fear.
But there does not have to be hate.
Yes there is isolation.
But there does not have to be loneliness.
Yes there is panic buying.
But there does not have to be meanness.
Yes there is sickness.
But there does not have to be disease of the soul
Yes there is even death.
But there can always be a rebirth of love.
Wake to the choices you make as to how to live now.
Today, breathe.
Listen, behind the factory noises of your panic
The birds are singing again
The sky is clearing,
Spring is coming,
And we are always encompassed by Love.
Open the windows of your soul
And though you may not be able
to touch across the empty square,
