今年はなかなか咲かない...
と思っていましたが、

this cherry blossom to
start blooming.
ある朝いきなり
中門が華やかに
なりました
One morning
it suddenly brightened
up Chumon (gate).
遅い...とは気のせいで
昨年ブログに載せたのは
5月の初めでした
I originally thought
it was late this year, but
according to my blog below,
it actually started blooming
early.
ぽんぽん...
という描写が合う
棉のような桜です
They look like
cotton balls.
朝日に輝く桜は
もちろん綺麗ですが
夜はどのような姿を
見せるのだろうと
日没後にも来てみました
Cherry blossom
in the morning sun is
definitely beautiful, but
I wondered how they look
like at dusk.
中門のライトアップは
如何なる美も
一層引き立てます
The light always
enhances the beauty
even more.
そして
変わりゆく空の色が
桜の色も深くしていきます

空を見上げながら
感嘆のため息ばかり
It took my breath away.
演出に加わりました

高野山と桜の共演に
目も心も
潤してもらいました
