先日慈尊院を訪れた日の
丹生官省符神社は
弁天岳より
続きです。
This is the continuation of
the day I visited Jisonin.
慈尊院から119段の階段を
登りきると、
I walked up 119 stairs
from Jisonin to
丹生官省符神社です。
Niu-kan-sho-bu Shrine
弘法大師空海が
816年に創建しました。
Kukai built this shrine
in 816.
高野山町石道の登山口に
鎮座し、導きの神様として
尊崇されています。
It is enshrined at the entrance
to “Cho-ishi-michi” which
is the trail to Koyasan.
町石道は
空海が高野山を開創した際
木製の卒塔婆を建て
道標とした表参道です。
Cho-ishi-michi is the main
approach to Koyasan where
Kukai built the wooden stupa
as signposts.
空海はこの道を通り
月に9度は山をおり
慈尊院に滞在していた母の元に
通いました。
Kukai walked on Cho-ishi-michi
to see his mother, who stayed
in Jisonin, nine times a month.
木製の卒塔婆の道しるべは
朽ちやすいため、
鎌倉時代に
石造の町石に
取り替えられました。
The wooden stupas decayed
quickly, so they were replaced
with stone during the Kamakura
period.
慈尊院と
丹生官省符神社の間の
119段の階段の途中に
百八十町石があり、
The middle of the 119 stairs
between the shrine and
Jisonin, 180-choseki
can be found.
1 町(109m)ごとに
建てられ、
Starting from 180-choseki,
each choseki was built
every 119 yard.
一町石は、
高野山壇上伽藍に
あります。
1-choseki is located
in Danjo-Garan in
Koyasan.
この町石道を
歩きたいと
だいぶ前から願いながら
未だ叶えられないのは
Although I’ve been longing
to walk on Cho-ishi-michi
for long time,
クマが怖いからです。
I’m scared of bears!
先月、
弁天岳にひとりで
登りましたが、
When I climbed up
Ben-ten-dake
last month,
私がインスタに
投稿した写真と前後して、
“クマ出没”の投稿をされた方が
いたそうで、
someone posted “I saw a bear
in Koyasan” in the Instagram
right after I posted some
pictures.
「遭難していませんかー？」
Is everything okay
with you?
と、マルタカ援助隊から
連絡が来ました。
I received a message
from the master of
Marutaka, who was worried
if I had been attacked by
the bear.
弁天岳に関しましては
また後日ご報告いたします。
I will tell you about
Ben-ten-dake when I
have a chance.
