高野山にも少しずつ

観光客が戻ってきましたが、

新型コロナウイルスが
高野山の人々の生活を
激変させた前の状態には
ほど遠いようです。

pandemic occurred.
そのような中、

先日の四連休に
興味深い光景を
目にしました。
I saw something
very interesting
during the four day
weekend.
整体師さんが、
酒饅頭のさざ波とコラボし、
酒饅頭とコーヒーのセットを
店頭販売をしていたのです。
A chiropractor collaborated
with Sazanami, a Japanese
confectionary and was selling
a set of coffee and manju,
Japanese sweet, on the street.
写真を撮り忘れたのですが、
I forgot to take a picture

ベンチのところに
テーブルを置き、
8歳の娘さんが
手伝っていました。
They placed a table
where a wooden

8 years old daughter
help them.
さながら、
アメリカの子供が
家の前でレモネードを
売っているようでした。
It looked just like
a Lemonade stand in
America.
また、
最近、一の橋観光センターの
若女将は、お土産店を
切り盛りする傍ら、

of Ichinohashi Kanko Center
works hard at souvenir shop,
お香講座を始め
she’s started online classes
of incense,
その上、

YouTubeまで
スタートさせました。
she’s a youtuber now.
皆さん、色々とチャレンジし,
パワフルでございます。

to challenge something new,

マルタカで見かけた
高野山大学生が
マスターに話していました。
I heard that a college student
told the master of Marutaka,
「寺子屋を始めようと思う。」

オレ, 一応師範持ってっから」
Japanese calligraphy.

高野山、皆、それぞれに
コロナと共存するための
道を開くべく、日々
奮闘しています。
