it's scientifically proven that lonliness, or being socially excluded, stimulates the same part of our brain that perceives pain.

it may be adaptive radiation, and we're made to feel pain from being alone because it's a basal instinct that being in a group would enhance survivability.

but why is it so coincidental that the pain cause, it doesn't feel like hurt hurts in our head, or our abdomen or limbs, but just nice at our most vulnerable spot?

And the spot that the organ that keeps us alive, keeps our blood pumping resides in?

in our heart?
