Hope everyone is having a good week. Today I have a new Japanese English or Waseieigo word for you!
So I was looking at some old photos from last month when I saw some pics of my friends and I at the 'Color Run' For those of you who don't know what the 'Color Run' is, it's a 5K marathon where they throw colored powder at you during the race.
There are 4 or 5 color checkpoints and as you go through the checkpoint, they throw colored powder at you. It was so much fun and I totally recommend it
During the race I did hear one Waseieigo word over and over and over again!!!! "High Touch"

This is not English
If you say this to Native speakers they will not understand you
In English, we say: --> High five

Why is it five?? Well....we have five fingers on our hands!

High Five (ハイファイブ)

So in the future please say High Five!!! And also don't forget now a days most people don't only high five, but we also fist bump
!!! Do you know what "fist bump" means?
