1ITIL ２０１１の付随事件と付随事件管理の定義に注目

According to the ITIL 2011 version, an incident is “an unplanned interruption to an IT service or reduction in the quality of an IT service. Failure of a configuration item that has not yet affected service is also an incident — for example, failure of one disk from a mirror set.” Incident management is defined as “the process responsible for managing the life cycle of all incidents. Incident management ensures that normal service operation is restored as quickly as possible and the business impact is minimized.”
ITIL 2011版によれば、一つの付随事件とは、「 IT サービスへの計画的でない妨害あるいはIT サービスの品質低下です。まだサービスに影響を与えていない構成品目の不良も同じく事件です。－例えば、ミラーセットからの１枚の磁気ディスク不良」付随事件管理は、「すべての付随事件のライフサイクルを管理することに責任があるプロセスであり、付随事件管理が通常のサービス稼働が可能な限り速く回復してビジネス衝撃が最小にされることを保証する。」と定義されます。
