Google’s featured snippets, also known as “position zero” on the SERP, can be a great opportunity to get one over your competitors in search results. Most webmasters believe Google crawls their website in one go and will continue until everything’s crawled. The purchase cycle can sometimes involve a large number of clicks. The ability for a piece of content to earn natural links that positively contribute to a website’s link graph is directly proportional to that contents value. In other words, the more valuable the piece of content is, the easier it will be to earn high-value links and increase Google traffic. Conversely, the less valuable a piece of content is, the harder it will be to earn links. The freelance world might disagree with me but frankly I do not think there is not an SEO in the world who can lay claim to having the expertise and experience to deliver, hands-on, every single facet of what makes up contemporary SEO.
Why optimize for just one keyword phrase when you can optimize it for 3 or even 5 keyword phrases?
Integrate selected keywords into your website source code and existing content on designated pages. SEO takes some time. There’s no legitimate way around that. But SEO is also not a one-and-done activity. You can’t SEO a website and call it good. If you want to stay competitive, then SEO shouldn’t stop just because you’ve started seeing results. Like most SEO professionals, nothing wrecks my digestive system more than an organic traffic drop with no apparent reason. If there was one thing that we could get across to those unfamiliar with SEO, it’s that it takes time. You should expect at a minimum a few months to 6 months before you see any noticeable results. That length of time grows even longer if you have a new site, little authority, and a small amount of content. If you want to earn high rankings in Google search results, you first need to understand how Google ranks its search results.
SEO and SEM can work together beautifully
There are many on-page elements that go into optimizing a piece of content for the search engines – such as title tags, keyword placement, using multiple content types, topic modeling, etc. There are some legitimate concerns about SEO for newcomers; it isn’t a strategy you can master quickly, nor is it guaranteed to pay off. Google started penalizing mobile unfriendly sites in 2015. And they’re likely crack down even more in the future. If you want to make your site mobile-friendly, I recommend Responsive Design. There are more than enough SEO guides on the internet. But only a few of them can be fully applied to a multilingual website, as it needs some specific approach. We all know that search engines have been trying for years to decrease their reliance on links as a ranking factor. But they haven’t got there yet and I don’t necessarily see that happening in the next year or so.
Rich, quality and unique content is the norm of today

You can use a metric called Domain Authority to gauge this. Keep track of how many times your past keywords have yielded expected results. Use the right tools to track where you rank for the keywords you target. As we know that Google optimizes its results for user intent, hence, this is a way to know what content the searchers are looking for when they make a search for a keyword. Make a note of the things that you can implement in your content. Overfed with countless advice making things look simple and obvious, webmasters often rely on their intuition, common sense, or gut feelings when it comes to SEO… and they often fail.
Pay attention to your monthly click-through rate
While search engine bots are scanning websites for indexing purposes, they also look for links to other websites. The more high-quality inbound links the website has, the greater its link authority. In theory, every inbound link counts as a positive recommendation for a website. However, it is not the quantity of inbound links that plays the biggest role for search engines; it’s quality. Google is far more capable of deciphering user intent and generating results that meet a user’s needs, rather than relying on one-to-one keyword matching. Content simply refers to the text on your homepage, your blog posts, videos you’ve produced, and any podcasts you’ve published. Focus on producing the best content you can – or pay someone to create it for you! Make it compelling, detailed, substantive, accurate and entertaining. Importantly, Google is now looking for ways to improve its understanding of non-written words such as through videos and audios, and of course, images. When optimizing sites for SEO most people concentrate on text searches, ignoring the vast number of image searches performed each day.
The goal of SEO is to make you money
Most SEOs would agree that Google’s SERP features can be a double-edged sword. They can significantly cut into your site traffic if you aren’t featured in one, or they can result in a welcome boost if you are. Duplicate content isn’t necessarily a bad or wrong thing, apart from in the above example where it’s just straight up theft. Different search queries with different intent will result in different results. Google has become so sophisticated that when a web user searches for a “How to find organic foods” he or she will get a different results page than if he or she typed in the search query “where is the closest grocery store.” The intent behind both searches are different and Google knows it. Long tail keywords are essentially longer more specific keywords that tie in directly to your content. For example, if you are selling woman’s shoes on your eCommerce website. The main keywords would likely be: “ladies shoes”, “woman’s shoes”, “girls shoes” and other similar words. You want people to subscribe to your blog by providing you an email address. You can then market to them with your newer blog posts, content offers or sales. Just make sure not to spam them; no one wants to receive an email every day pushing a purchase.
