これも、以前茶道の先生に教わった禅語の一つです。
12月になると、掛け軸が「無事」という二文字になっていて、毎年「今年も無事に過ごしてこられて感謝しなくてはね。」
大過なく、平穏無事な日常を送ることのありがたさ。
この年になると、その大切さが心にしみてわかるのですが、当時30代だった私はわかってはいるけど
「ああ、今年も、大した成長もなく終わってしまった。」
と、どちらかといえば、「何もないこと」を少し悲しんでいたように思います。
何もないことが、どれほどありがたいか、災害があちらこちらで起こるようになっている近年では
本当に感謝の気持ちです。
今年は、「庵治みなと番所」を復活させることができたことが一番のできごとでした。
お陰様で、大きな事故もなく、営業させていただけている事、心から感謝しています。
香川県庵治町は、冬は花火のような大きなイベントはありませんが、
カキの養殖体験や、庵治石の彫刻現場見学、映画のロケ地巡りなどいろいろできることもあります。
四国八十八か所巡りの宿としてもご活用いただけると思います。
また、宿泊付きの忘年会会場としても利用できると思います。
帰省した際の大人数での宿泊にも最適です。

But even things learned long ago fade if not constantly revisited, and things once thought understood
can reveal themselves to be misinterpreted over time. In other words, without maintaining a constant attitude of learning,
people inevitably regress.
Learning new things is important, but deepening existing knowledge is equally vital.
No matter your age,
the attitude of learning is crucial to deepening even shallow, superficial knowledge.
