dinner in a private room at night.

新潟戻ってから、こんな感じの料理が続いている
Since returning to Niigata, I've been
making dishes like this.

Japanese steamed egg custard
秋刀魚の焼き物
Grilled saury
調理方法なのか器のお陰なのか、秋刀魚の旨みが凝縮されていた。これが1番美味かった。
Perhaps it was the cooking method or
the bowl, but the flavor of
the pacific saury was concentrated
in this dish.
This was the best.

食後、また温泉へ行き、帰りに無料ラウンジで
ビールを頂いた
After dinner,I went to the hot spring
again and had a beer in the free lounge
on the way back.

翌朝、ビュッフェ形式の朝食会場へ
The next morning, we went to
the buffet breakfast venue.
海鮮丼は具材盛り放題、いくらも盛り放題
だが、他のメニューはそこそこな感じだった
The seafood bowl comes with unlimited
toppings and salmon roe.
But the other dishes were just so-so.
グレープフルーツ丸ごとのジュースは美味かった
あと、ヤスダヨーグルトの飲むヨーグルト飲み放題は最高です、が
全体的には期待しすぎたのか、期待値を越えることは無かった
The whole grapefruit juice was delicious
Also, Yasuda Yogurt's all-you-can-drink
yogurt drink is the best
But overall, maybe I expected too much,
and it didn't exceed my expectations.
普段よく行く川久や、ブランシェットのレベルの高さを再認識させられた
I was reminded of the high level of
the food at Kawakyu in Shirahama
and Blanchett,
which I often visit.

ホテルをチェックアウト後、地元で用事をすまし、
長岡インター近くのラーメン天家へ
After checking out of the hotel,
We took care of some errands
locally and went to Ramen Tenya
near Nagaoka Interchange.
背脂ラーメン

ゴールデンウィークにも行ったが再訪
とりあえず、背脂ラーメン食べないと帰省した
気がしないから
We're back for the first time
since Golden Week.
I don't feel like I've come home unless
I try the back fat ramen.
食後、大阪まで一気に寄り道せずに帰った。
途中、金沢の手前あたりで事故渋滞があったので
予定より遅く家に着いた。
After the meal, we went straight back to
Osaka without making any detours.
On the way, there was a traffic jam due to
an accident just before Kanazawa, so
we got home later than planned.
北陸道、工事の影響もあるのか事故が多い気がする
次回、まだ工事が終わってなければ長野方面からのルートで帰るかも。
I feel like there are a lot of accidents on
the Hokuriku Expressway,
probably due to construction.
Next time, if the construction isn't finished yet, I might take the route back from
Nagano.
