子供には誕生日の自転車
それだけの価値があるだろうか？

By the women and children
町に広がった噂
女や子供がひろめた
Soon we'll be shipbuilding
もうすぐ、船造りが始まる

Well I ask you
The boy said 'DAD THEY'RE GOING TO TAKE ME TO TASK
BUT I'LL BE BACK BY CHRISTMAS'
息子が言った
「父さん、任務に行って来る。でも、クリスマスまでにはもどってくるよ。」

町に広がった噂
Somebody said that someone got filled in
For saying that people get killed in
The result of this shipbuilding
誰かが仕事をなくした
この船造りで人が殺されるって言ったせいで

Diving for dear life

いとしい命を海に投げ出すのか
ぼくたち真珠を探しに飛び込むこともできるのに
