今回のブログでは、「日本製」から離れて、少し別のお話をしてみたいと思います。

春馬さんに心を寄せる皆様は今も不安や深い悲しみを抱えているかもしれません。
積み重ねてきた日々の中で少しづつ癒される事もあるかもしれませんが、それでもやはり心がざわざわする日なのではないでしょうか。
今日のような日は、春馬さんが生まれ育った土浦にゆかりの深い蓮の花にまつわるお話でもいかがでしょうか？

Everyone who cares about Haruma-san may still feel uneasy and deep sadness.
Although you may be able to heal a little by little in the many days you spent, it is still another wistful day today.
Time like today, how about a story of the lotus flower, which is closely related to Tsuchiura, where Haruma-san was born and raised?
春馬さんが好きだと言っていた蓮の花。
花言葉は『神聖』『清らかな心』等。
蓮は仏教に縁の深い花で智慧の象徴だそうです。
The lotus flowers that Haruma-san said he liked.
Floriography (the language of flowers) is "sacred," "pure heart," and so on.
The lotus flower, which is closely related to Buddhism, is a symbol of wisdom.
蓮の花は清らかな水ではなく濁った泥水のあるところに咲きます。
真直ぐに茎を伸ばし、先端に華麗な花を咲かせます。泥の中から出てきても泥に汚れることないことから蓮の花は清らかさの象徴とも言われています。
The lotus flower blooms in muddy water, not pure water.
The stems grow straight, reaching upward to find the top of the water and bloom splendid flowers at the tips. The lotus flower symbolizes purity because even if it emerges from the mud, it will not be stained by the mud.
花は、朝に花びらを開き、昼頃には花びらを閉じます。
朝、花びらが開く時には小さな小さな音が聞こえるそうです。
ベストな見頃の時間帯は朝の7時から9時の間。
その周期で4日間咲くと言われています。

The most beautiful blooms can be seen between 7:00 and 9:00 in the morning.
It is said to bloom for 4 days in that cycle.

蓮の花の香りを楽しむには勇気を出して蓮池の中に入って行かなければなりません。簡単には確認できない蓮の花の香り。蓮の花の神秘的な魅力の一つですね。

日本では、まさに今が見頃の蓮の花。
築地本願寺では７月は蓮の花が見頃だそうです。
また、お近くの方は土浦へ、あるいはお住まいの近くでも蓮の花を見に出かけてみてはいかがでしょう？
春馬さんが子供の頃から見ていたかもしれない蓮の花とともに、心穏やかに過ごす時間が持てるのではないでしょうか…春馬さんを想いながら。
Lotus flowers are in full bloom in many places in Japan right now.
At Tsukiji Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, where Haruma-san is laid to rest, lotus flowers are at their best in July.
Why not also go to see lotus flowers in Tsuchiura or even nearby you live?
