花*Overall* So many cafes and restaurants in Tsukuba are so spacious compared to similar ones in Tokyo... they are very lucky with so much space! Memories is extremely spacious, with a gallery and an area that sells accessories.

It's not easy to find, but once you find it, I think you will enjoy your time there. The lunch plate consisted mainly of local vegetables in season.

花*Satisfaction & Yummy Scale*: 8

A few days ago, a woman who teaches English with me gave me a little gift.present*

Just because.

Of course, Japanese people love to give gifts.ハート

Summer gifts贈り物, winter giftspresent*, souvenirs from their travels紙袋, and so on...

Foreign teachers new to Japan are also taught to bring a "gift"for the school staff.

I have really started to enjoy this custom!YES

Of course, this means that you need to reciprocate.ぐるーん

Good evening!Hello!

Can you believe that it's already December?(#´`#)

Last week, we received a winter gift りんご from Nagano...

リンゴThe "Fuji Apple"is not only the most popular apple in Japan,

but is now very popular all around the world.

リンゴ The "Fuji Apple" is not named after Mt. Fuji富士山, as many people think, but rather after a place in Aomori Prefecture, famous for its apples.

リンゴThis Japanese apple has American parents - the Red Delicious and Ralls Janet, an heirloom apple that goes back to Thomas Jefferson in 1793. The Fuji was "born" in 1952 in Japan and introduced into the United States in the 1980s.

リンゴThe Japanese like their apples to be bigger and extremely sweet! Japanese like the apple to be fully rippened so that you can see the "honey-like" sugar in the apple.

Good afternoon!

A gorgeous December afternoon...太陽

It's hard to believe that it's already December12月!!13

Did you remember to say White Rabbit's Footうさぎ this morning!?

This will bring you good luck this monthスマイルw

When you forget how many days there are in the month,

try to remember this rhyme:

♪Thirty days hath September,
April, June, and November;
All the rest have thirty-one,
Excepting February alone,
Which hath twenty-eight days clear,
And twenty-nine in each leap year♪*

I know it's a bit difficult to remember the entire rhyme...

so as long as you remeber the first two lines,

you won't forget the number of days in each month!

     "Thirty days hath September,

      April, June and November..."

You can also use your knuckles to count...ぐー

Make a fist and count the first knuckle as January..

※knuckles= 指関節、指の節

The last month of the year...

Let's have a great December!…
