Today, I decided to pick some "Sharon Fruit".
What's "Sharon Fruit"?
Kaki: Japanese Persimmon (also known as Asian Tomato). Recently, kaki which has been chemically ripened has become popular in Europe. It is marketed as "Sharon Fruit"(also known as Korean mango).
There are two kinds of kaki: astringent(渋い） and non-astringent（渋くない、甘い）,
The Persimon fruit was known to the ancient Greeks as "the fruit of the Gods".
This tree
was planted in our yard to commemorate the wedding of Kaori and Hiroshi, who are now living in New York
Last year, it produced over 80 fruits, but this year... only 3
.
One for Kaori... one for Hiroshi... one for their son, Hiyu.
