I feel sorry for Toshiba as Westinghouse was forced upon them by US and Japanese governments. I hope Hitachi will be able to escape the nightmare Toshiba is suffering from.
On 8th November, the Guardian's article features Toshiba's withdrawal from the project in Cumbria:

The capacity of renewable energy has overtaken that of fossil fuels in the UK for the first time, in a milestone that experts said would have been unthinkable a few years ago.
It is obvious: renewable is the future.
