Yes it is.
It's a story told by a female librarian who worked hard to become qualified to be the head of the library she has devoted her life.
It's a story told by a female librarian who worked hard to become qualified to be the head of the library she has devoted her life.
One cold winter Monday morning, she found a tiny kitten amongst the books returned through the slot on the library wall.
The little cat was almost dying due to hunger and cold.
She and her colleague did everything to warm him up with hot water bath and nutrition somehow procured.
He is named Dewey and becomes the mascot of the library so popular that even a Japanese TV crew visit him to film his life in the library building.
The rest is history but the book also mentions the personal family history of the author and it is quite moving and uplifting.
If you have not read it, please try your nearest public library.
So I taped it and tied it up with a rubber band then clipped it to secure the constant power supply and battery re-charging. It took me two days to achieve this brilliant hand-made countermeasure because I was too upset; this adaptor cost me 50 quid from the Apple Store in Regents Street and it warranty was only for one year.
I cannot afford another 50 pounds for the replacement.
The original one was dodgy from the beginning but at least lasted for 3 years or so.
The second one is supposed to be much improved (design-wise) but did not last longer.
That's not an improvement, is it?

In the meanwhile I have read the first novel by Eric Idle from Monty Python team:
- Hello Sailor/Eric Idle

Loved it.
Published in 1975 so no f word let alone C word but pretty radical and entertaining.
Hanky-panky, camp and well researched political thriller/tragedy/comedy.
Nudge, nudge, wink, wink, say no more!
