久しぶりの計器解説。
これはサクションゲージと呼ばれるもの。
飛行機にはジャイロを使った計器が３つついています。
①姿勢計と②針路計と③旋回率計。これらは回転しているジャイロが一定の向きにとどまろうとする力を利用した計器です。このうち旋回率計はバックアップとして電気の力でジャイロが回転しています。残りの2つは空気の力でジャイロを回しています。
この空気の吸い込み量を測っているのがこのサクションゲージ。空気の量が少ないということは姿勢計と針路計が狂っている可能性があるということなので飛行中も頻繁にチェックする計器のひとつです。

This is called suction gage.
The airplane has three instrument use of gyro. ①atitude indicator②heading indicator③rate of turn indicator.
These are powered by the principle "rifidity in space".
The gyro of rate of turn indicator powered by electricity. The gyro of others powered by vacuum system. Suction gage shows the quantity of airflow.
If that shows lower than usual, those two gage are unliable. That's why, we often check this gage.
