本当に天気が悪く、結構雲の中を飛びました。
雲の中は真っ白で回りはまったく見えません。
we were flying in the cloud during one third of the time.
When we were in the cloud, we cannot see anything.
ひとつ目の給油地、サンタローザでホライゾン航空と仲良く順番待ち。
天気が悪くすべての飛行機が計器飛行だったのでかなり待たされました。無線では着陸機が７機と出発機が３機いると言っていました。私たちがその２番目。
First stop was Santa Roza. We waited for sequence of take off with Horizon airlines. This airport had 7 arrivals and 3 depatures, because all aircraft fly with IFR due to wheather.
クレセントシティに向けてILSアプローチ。雲を抜けると正面に滑走路が見えて一安心。
This is Crescent City airport.
I could see the runway just after broke the cloud.
100フィート・・・じゃないですよ。11000フィートです。
上空の気圧でへこんだペットボトル。
Is this 100feet? No this is 11000feet.
This bottle is proof of the pressure is low at high altitude.
帰りはウィローズという町の空港によって給油。
そこにあったレストランで夜ご飯を食べました。
そして帰りはやっぱり夜に・・・。小さな空港だと滑走路の光もこんなもんです。
The final stop is Willows.
