愛おしく尊い横顔
When we drew some illustrations,
子供たちとお絵描きしてたとき、
I felt like I wanted to draw my baby’s favorite side profile.
ふと三男の横顔が描きたくなりました
This angle is my favorite—I really mean it.
この角度、めちゃくちゃ愛おしくて
A soft and chewy cheek,
もちもちのほっぺ、
long eyelashes,
長いまつ毛、
a bold head with just a little hair…
まだ地肌の見える頭…
how graceful it is.
なんて尊いんだろう
It is said a third baby is like a grand child.
3番目は孫のような可愛さと聞きますが、
I can empathize with it,though a little bit.
ちょっとわかる気がします
