I will be nine months pregnant in this week.
I want to introduce a check-up in the US.
アメリカで過ごす妊婦生活、
遂に今週で妊娠9ヶ月。
アメリカでの妊婦健診をちょこっと紹介します
Pregnants go to a check-up 1time in 4weeks until middle of 8months pregnant.
妊娠発覚から8ヶ月中盤まで、
妊婦健診は4週に1回です。
There are almost no echo examinations.
If you are in Japan,pregnants can correct baby's echo photos though.
エコー診察はほぼ無いです。
日本だと、エコー写真をコレクションできるくらい
毎回やるのが当たり前ですよね
Due to my low lying placenta and bleeding,
I took an additional echo examination.
Nevertheless the total number is 3 times.
私の場合は切迫流産と低置胎盤だったこともあり、
エコー診察の追加検査がありました。
それでもトータル3回ですかね
Even more suprising,as for vaginal palpation,
maybe only once.
In Japan, this happens every time from early to mid-pregnancy.
さらに驚くべきことは、
日本ではエコーができる時期までは
検査台での内診が当たり前ですが
こちらでは1回だけだったかな
It was not comfortable you know,
so pregnant's check-up in the US is less stressful than in Japan.
I was melancholy when a check up day because I didn’t like a palpation.
あの内診は決して快適じゃないというか
もう「うえー」って感じですよね
なので内診がほぼ無いアメリカの検診は、
日本よりストレスフリーだなと感じてます
But there are not only good aspects,but also not good aspects.
でも良い面だけじゃなく、良くは無いなと感じる面もあります。
Doctors don't notice the problem even if you have,
because they rarely perform vaginal exams.
If I want the doctor to notice my problem,I have to say by myself.
出血している、貧血が酷いなど私たちが何か問題を抱えていても、
自己申告しない限り医者は気づきません。
なぜなら内診しないから
And I wasn't sure about my baby's safety.
The basic check-up is checked listening to baby’s heartbeat from above my stomach.
On the contrary,in Japan,
listening checks were done only during late pregnancy.
赤ちゃんが本当に大丈夫なのかは
常に確信が持てなかったですね
基本的な検診は、お腹の上から心音を聞いて終わり。
ドクターがくれば妊婦健診は1分で終わります
逆に日本では、心音だけ聞くような診察はなかったような・・
一定時間心音と脈拍とか測るのは後期にありましたけどね
There are blood tests and cervical cancer screening in Japan.
I was prescribed iron supplements by the blood test results.
In the US,there was no cancer screening.
And I took blood tests,but it was only 2 times.
あと日本では妊娠が発覚すると、いくつか検査を受ける流れでした。
子宮癌検診とか、血液検査は確か複数回あったような
日本では私は妊娠中期の血液検査結果で貧血を指摘されて、
鉄剤を処方されたこともありました。
アメリカでも血液検査はあったけど、2回だったかなあ・・
It was good for me this is not my first time.
I became pregnant for the third time,
So I don’t mind almost things.
“How many weeks are you pregnant?” like that,
I can’t answer such a question at this time.
まあでも初めての妊娠がアメリカじゃなかった、というのは
私にはよかったかなと思います
妊娠も3回目にもなれば、
「今何週なの？」とか聞かれても
アプリ見ないと答えらないレベルで色々把握してない
というか意識しようという意識がない
でも、自分が海外で妊娠出産を経験するとは
思ってもなかったことなので、
一つ一つ違いを感じることも含めて、
本当に貴重で良い経験だなと思います
