It was a wonderful day.
My eldest son has been promoted!
He got a final belt of kids class,
and he will join the elementary class.
先日、本当に素敵な日を迎えました
テコンドーで
長男がキッズクラス最後の昇段をして、
ブラックストライプベルトになりました
(キッズ部門の黒帯)
His way was not easy.
I really know well as his mother and a player.
I always watch him while he takes a lesson.
ここまでの道のりは簡単じゃなかった。
母親ってだけじゃなくて、
同じようにテコンドーを習ってるし、
毎回レッスンに付き添って見てるから。
誰よりも彼の道が如何に困難だったか分かる。
This taekwondo school was his first experience in the US.
Before he could enroll in the preschool,
he was attended in this Taekwondo school by me.
But I didn't leave him alone.
We startled together for saying
"Let's do it together,buddy"
このテコンドースクールは、
長男の1番最初のアメリカ体験でした🇺🇸
プリスクールより先に入会し、
私によって始めさせられた
でも1人で「やれ」って言ったわけじゃなく、
同時に習い始めた。「頑張れ」じゃなくて、
「頑張ろう」って言うために。
He had to attend classes which is taught entirely in English.
He had to understand and follow English commands.
彼は人生で初めて、全て英語で行われるレッスンに参加しなければならなかった。
彼は英語の指示を理解し、
指示通りに動かなくてはいけなかった。
He usually confused,
but ours Master and teachers were patients and kind.
最初の頃長男はよく混乱して困っていたけど、
師範やインストラクターの先生たちは
とにかく優しく、忍耐強く、
あたたかく迎えてくれました
The teachers have showed their approval to kids students.
They gave kids students high-fives,
called out to kids name,
and put their hands on kids shoulders.
先生たちはいつも子供たちに
承認を示してくれます。
ハイタッチをしたり、名前を呼んで褒めたり、
肩に手を置いて「よくやった」と言ってくれたり。
The sense of security that "I am recognized'' has great value for children.
「自分は認められている」という安心感は、
子供にとってとても大きな価値があります。
He has felt achievements.
Each belts were became his confidence step by step.
Belts show strengths.
昇段する度に上がる帯の色は、
徐々に長男の自信に変わっていきました。
ランクが上がっていく達成感を感じながら。
There were many struggles,
so it was a great day for him.
And there are still struggles at all.
It's okay,it is a martial arts.
And he can grow up more and more.
これまで多くの葛藤があったし、
これからも苦戦する時は沢山あると思います。
でもそれが武道というものだと思うから。
そうして成長していくとも思うから。
Anyway,it was really great!
