We have an experience to take an interview of the kindergarten in Japan.
It’s almost same in the US.
Teachers told me about my son’s life and attitude in the kindergarten.
I thought my son is doing a great job after the interview.
Cuz he always cried in the previous preschool.
But he never cry in the school anymore.
He could enjoy playing with friends.
He could talk in English with friends.
Of course I think he sometimes have a problem.
And he sometimes confuse what teachers and friends say.
It’s normal,isn’t it?
Cuz English is 2nd language for us.
The situation is happened to everyone.
Not only my son,but also another child.
I’m feeling he just try to make friends.
I touch many English words for him.
But the best word for him was
“Let’s play together.”
He uses this phrase the most.
To say this phrase,he needs courage.
But he can say,he could say.
I really respect him.
If I’m a child now,I wander I can’t say like him.
And now,he has many friends in the kindergarten.
It’s really great things.
But The teachers say,he also has his challenges.
He frequently can’t concentrate on what the teacher is saying.
I can imagine its situation.
There are two factors.
1st reason is easy.
To put it simply, he hates studying.
Even if I teach him something,
He can’t concentrate on my story.
But it's normal as a 5 years old BOY,huh?
It means,2nd reason is a problem for him.
Actually these situations didn't happen in the japanese kindergarten and nursery school.
On the contrary,
he was said to be very focused.
This is because in addition to the advantage of being born in April,
his language development was so fast that I wouldn't think he was a BOY.
Well,tken.why can't he do it now?
Cuz it's English.
I really sympathize.
I also have same situations in my ESL.
Sometimes English becomes magical words-wise for me when I can't concentrate on or misunderstood.
It's like,
「◯△♯♩X？？？」
right?
I really empathize with him
So I'm proud of him.
His kindness,his courage,
his weak heart feels like it might break,
but it won't.
