こちらに来て早々の。
そして子供たちにとっての初めてのイベントは、10月のハロウィンでした
日本でもそうだけど、10月はスーパーやショッピングモールなど、様々な場所でハロウィン関連のグッズやお菓子が売ってました。
街中で開催される大きなイベントもいくつかあります。
そして日本との違い
ハロウィンメイクはとにかく「おどろおどろしい
」です。
そして、こちらでは「大人も真剣に仮装」。
正しくは、「大人が真剣に仮装しても誰も違和感を覚えない」かな。
大人は衣装着て真剣に参加してもよい。
着なくてもよい。という感じでした
メイクアップは、全体白塗りで目元は黒く塗り、縫い目や血糊をのせておどろおどろしく。
というのが一般的でした
あとはアニマルやフェアリーのフェイスペイントも、特設スタンドをいくつか見たなあ。
ハロウィンってもともとの由来は、
秋の収穫を祝うと共に、災いを招く魔女や悪魔を払うもの。
そして仮装は、魔女たちの仲間に見せかけるためのものなんですよね？多分。
だから、「おどろおどろしくする」のがもちろん理にかなっているけれど、
日本のハロウィン（可愛くプリンセスや魔女♡）しか見たことなかったので目をひかれました。
初めて見るハロウィンメイクに驚きつつも、長男はフェイスペイントに興味津々でした。
今年はきっとやるだろうな( ˊᵕˋ*)
しかしほんと、全然違った
アメリカでも女の子はディズニープリンセス系着てる子が多かったです
男の子はスパイダーマンキッズたちがたくさんいたなー
あとは消防士や、日本の忍者、ミニオン、ドラキュラ。などなど。
「一家全員でMrインクレディブルファミリーになってる！！」
「トイストーリーファミリーだ！！」
とか、両親から赤ちゃんまでコンセプト統一して仮装してるファミリーも何組も見ました
ハロウィン期間中は動物園なども、仮装していく人がとっても多いです。
もちろん本場の衣装もアリだけど（コストコとかでもいっぱい売る）、
日本で買えばかぶらないしサイズやアイテムも豊富なので、
日本から買っていくのもおすすめです
我が家は長男は忍者の衣装、次男はプーさんの着ぐるみを買って、航空便で送りました。
あとは100均のセリアやダイソーで、
カボチャのバケツ（trick or treatで必須です！）やカボチャのステッキ、忍者の腰に差す用の剣なども購入しました。
とても役に立ちました
今年は私も黒づくめの魔女にでもなろうかなぁ

As soon as I came here,the first event for my children was Halloween in October.
In October,many goods and sweets of Halloween-related were sold at various places,like supermarkets and shoppingmalls.
There are also some big Halloween events all over the town.
To compare Japan to America,there is a difference!
American's Halloween makeup is more creepy than Japan's makeup,anyway.(terrifying makeup)
And here,adluts also dress up seriously.
Correctly speaking,anybody don't feel strange even if adluts wear Halloween costumes.
In case of adluts,it's okey to wear a costume if the person want to wear it.
But you don't have to wear it.
It was that kind of feeling.
The Halloween makeup was all white on face,and the eyes were painted black,and the seams and blood were put on it to make it look scary.It was common.
And I also saw some special stands for animal and fairy face paint.
Speaking about the origin of Halloween.
Along with celebrating the autumn harvest,it wards off witches and demons who invite disaster.
Costumes are meant to make you look like a fellow witch,right?(Maybe)
So of cource it makes sense to ""make it scary"",but I've only seen Japan-wise Halloween.
It was the scean that my sons and I were suprised at such a halloween makeups.
It was completely different,really.
Even in America,many girls were wearing Disney princess clothes.
In case of boys,there were many Supider-Man kids,firegighters,Japanese Ninja,minions,and doracula etc.

""There is a Toy story family!""
I saw some families in costume that unify the consept from parents to babies.
During the Halloween period,many people wear the halloween costumes whereever they go,like a zoo.
In case of me,I bought the Ninja costume for my eldest son,and the Winnie the Pooh costume for my youngest son.
And I sent them by airmail.
After that,I bought some goods,like a buckets(It's an indispensable item for Trick or Treat) and pumpkin stick in Seria and Daiso.And I also bought a sword for Ninja.
I guess I might wear the black witch in this year.
