We're back on US soil as episode two establishes this season's chief storyline there's something rotten in the Islamabad station, and Carrie's going to root it out, even though no one wants her to.
Only this time it's unclear whether she's been driven by a desire to put things right in Islamabad (perhaps feeling guilty for blowing up a wedding on the advice of bad information), or whether she just wants to get away from her daughter, a ginger haired reminder of her lost love.
Here are some questions the episode left us with:
Beats me. But the more pertinent question is:
What were those vials in Aayan's bag?
He doesn't strike me as a drug addict/dealer.
Will Quinn be having a second date unlikely (Picture: C4)

Is Carrie Mathison the most selfish character on TV?
She lands her sister with a baby that she can't look after, she fails to recognise Quinn's real PTSD, she manipulates shamelessly to get what she wants then pretends that her hands are tied, and she only talks to Saul when she has a job for him.

Lockhart, the new CIA Director, certainly covered up the information leak in Islamabad. But did he do it because he's in league with the terrorists, or simply because he wants to hush up anything that will make him look bad?

It might take a while, but it seems likely that when Lockhart falls, Saul will be there to slip into the chair that should have been his from the beginning.
Was Sandy the one leaking information?
Or is that all a double bluff, and he was actually sneaking off to meet a lover rather than an informant? Was he really an innocent victim in all of this?
Is the Islamabad mole the original mole?
Remember way back at the start of the show when everyone had to take lie detector tests because information had been leaked? Was that leak ever plugged?
