Nike Free Run

The Nike Air Max 90 ‘Infrared’ is one of those sneakers that’s going to sell out pretty much every time it comes back around, Nike Sportswear having brought it back with a pretty true to OG look a good number of times in the last decade. Switching things up a little bit is the 2013 version pictured here, one which will arrive amidst a string of similar VNTG style pairs for the Nike Air Max lineup, and one that shouldn’t have a hard time winning Mens Nike Free Run folks over regardless of that yellowed-sole look. Stay with us after the jump to get the best look yet and the Nike Air Max 90 VNTG ‘Infrared’ and let us know if you’ll be grabbing a pair come next year in the comments below.

Happy Thanksgiving, Sneaker News readers? There was a ton of heat last night and with no NBA games scheduled today, let’s take a look at all the gems spotted yesterday. We’ll focus on the true Air Max 87 Womens bright spots, like DeMar DeRozan’s Air Jordan IV ‘Bred’, Kobe Bryant’s Nike Zoom Kobe VII Point 5, Monta Ellis’ Air Jordan XII ‘Flu Game’, and Jason Terry’s Reebok Answer IV (also worn by Jameer Nelson). We’ve got all that just below, so flip through the gallery, work up an appetite, and enjoy the holiday!

If you know your Wu-Tang history, you know that there are no shortage of Fila shoutouts in their back catalog. Proving he’s still down with the Italian sportswear brand, Raekwon recently arrived at a sit-down interview with MTV’s Sway in full Fila sweats and the Fila Original Tennis on feet (Not to mention his next album is titled F.I.L.A.). Continue reading to check out the video wherein the Chef talks a little bit about his fashion obsession and the Wu’s lasting influence on street level style. Also, let us know in the comments below if you’re feeling the recent resurgence of Fila models basketball and otherwise.

Considering there were ten pairs of Air Jordan IXs to choose from the past Holiday season, it might’ve been easy to overlook a release or two. With the six-pack of Kilroys, the Doernbecher, and the Olive/Cool Grey Retros, it’s safe to say that the underrated ‘Photo Blue’ Nike Free Run 5.0 V3 was the odd man out of that bunch, but thanks to a major factory blunder, the Photo Blues didn’t exactly go under the radar. A loud response from our readers resulted from the first report of the factory error that produced a black-sole version instead of the intended white, and many guessed that Jordan Brand would release them in some way rather than trash them for good. It appears that a few pairs have hit Nike Factory Stores, so if you’re looking for a pair, get in on the bidding action in this listing from 160jordansdeep on eBay.

Chapter 1 of the Johnny Kilroy saga began this past Saturday with the release of the Air Jordan IX ‘Johnny Kilroy’ and we can’t wait any longer for the pages to turn with this Saturday’s release of the ‘Fontay Montana’. Let’s take one look at Chapter 3 – the ‘Bentley Ellis’; it features a familiar ‘Cavs’ PE-like colorway with the ‘Crawfish’ embroidery on the inner face of the tongue and the Ellis tag on the tongue. Is this the climax of the Kilroy plot, or is there something more juicier? More of the Bentley IX below, so give it a look and let us know what you think.

The Woven Quickstrike was a big hit at Asian retailers, but what about the ‘standard’ Nike5 Street Gato?  Its super-sleek build and textured medial surfaces are anything but run of the mill, but we’re quite happy to see the suede style that debuted just before the turn of the year, return on this new Pine Green and white edition.  They’d be perfect for Celtics fans, soccer players who’d like a pitch the size of the TD Garden hardwood, or thanks to the suede upper, these might get turned into skate shoes by someone who’s seen countless indoor soccer kicks appropriated by griptape.  Joining the Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 ‘Pine Nike Air Max 2012 Mens Green’ Street Gato are black and blue leather pairs also available now, and after clicking below for more photos, you’ll find them at retailers like Miami’s Mr. R.  Photos: ITSBNew Balance continues to reach out to other brands known for their premium goods, extending some serious momentum accumulated over the past year-plus.  The latest proof of NB’s strength as a team player comes from an Italian menswear label whose upscale rugged character is right at home on the most angular of the 1980s New Bal runners.  The Stone Island x New Balance 577s utilize SI’s famed Raso Gommato rubberized cotton material alongside orange suede and white leather for two crisp and eye-catching designs.  These are available now at the four Stone Island flagships along with select additional retailers, and you can see both pairs in detail below.

Last year’s Total Air Foamposite Max releases took advantage of Foamposite Mania by offering sneakerheads a remixed approach of the popular Foam-based sneaker, and it looks like we’ll get a Total Air Foam redux this year as we get a first look at this insane colorway. It features a light blue and black upper with a lava-splash fade and a blue-on-black speckle on the heel and midsole for truly a unique touch. The Galaxy Foams touched on graphic details on the upper while the recent Black/Red/Gold Foamposite sample proved Air Max 2013 Womens again that Foams don’t need to be one solid colorway, but what are your thoughts on this rendition? Would a similar treatment work well on a Foamposite One/Pro? Check out the detailed gallery below and be sure to stick with Sneaker News for more updates on this interesting development. The year after the Wu-Tang Killa Bees album The Swarm released back in 1998, the NYC hip-hop collective got their own, officially-sanctioned Nike design in the form of the Nike Dunk High ‘Wu Tang’. Over a decade later and Solekeepa picks up on the black and yellow look again for this custom piece on a more modern design. The base is the Nike LeBron X, which gets outfitted with a honeycomb pattern and a Wu symbol for the lacelocks and back badge. See more of this Nike LeBron X ‘The Swam’ pair (Ya’ll been warned) from Solekeepa after the jump.

Are you ready for the next iteration of the Nike Free Run BOOST technology? Set to carry the Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 torch for the design is the Nike Free Run adiZero Adios BOOST, which will be in stores come October 1st. The model actually already had a limited rollout of sorts, as there were pairs up for grabs at the recent Boston Marahton. The design here ups the breathabability beyond that of the baseline BOOST model, outfitted the upper with a ventilated treatment. Continue reading to see some official shots of the mesh laden, BOOST-enhanced model and let us know in the comments if you like how the Nike Free Run adiZero Adios BOOST is shaping up.

Wale wearing a pair of early Foamposites? Hardly surprising, we know. This time around the man has on the relatively controversial Nike Air Foamposite One “Weatherman”, a pair that’s sort of split fans down Nike Air Max 97 Mens the middle. Nike Free Run 3.0 V5 It’s worth mentioning that Wale is a longtime collector of the Foamposite category, so we’ve got evidence that at least OG Foamposite fan of the line has given them the thumbs up. Continue reading for the full shot of Wale of wearing this “Weatherman” Nike Air Foamposite One and tell us in the comments whether or not you’re feeling them.

After giving a preview of the Vans Vault Sk8-Hi LX “Mickey Mouse” yesterday, Disney is back at it again with the Donald Duck x Vans Vault Sk8-Hi LX. The model features Donald in a variety of facial expressions – although none seem to feature his patented angry face – in an all over print along the cream canvas upper with touches of royal blue suede along the tongue. View more images below and pick them up from Titolo today and look out for these at select Vans Vault retailers worldwide.

It looks like the upcoming Nike KD Trey 5 will be joined by another takedown model from the exclusive Nike Signature Basketball fraternity as we get a first look at the upcoming Nike LeBron ST Low 2. This sneaker (likely an Asia-exclusive as all of the takedown sig models have been in the past) features a mix of LeBron X and Soldier 6, but what’s strange is the figure-8 detail on the heel of the outsole – a prominent feature of the Nike LeBron 8. The diamond “6″ logo on the Nike Free Run 5.0 V2 heel clearly suggests that the LeBron X is what’s at the core, with the crown logo on the tongue adding to that effect. Check out the gallery below and if you’re curious to see what this sample pair sold for, check out the listing from zhan524 on my stroes.

The patent leather look is one that’s not happened too many times on the Air Jordan V. Most recently there was that independence day style release in 2011, one that was preceded by the likes of the “Dark Army”. Shown here is an outtake of that shoe, one which has some strange alterations that set it apart from the retail version. Differences include the missing 23 embroidery, the all white stitching, and the greened out look for the midsole teeth. Click through to see some more on the unreleased look-see version of the Air Jordan V “Dark Army” and then check out the sample from rpatel194black on my stroes.

Kobe Bryant recently said he sees himself playing three to four more years for the Los Angeles Lakers.  That’s enough time to match Michael Jordan’s championships and get in the Karl Malone/Kareem Abdul-Jabbar neighborhood in career scoring.  The unceremonious end to Kobe’s 2012-13 season means he’ll have to fight uphill for these milestones, including coming back from the toughest injury from his career.  Kobe’s in good spirits and taking advantage of the summer’s restorative powers (remember, he played straight through last year en route to a second Olympic gold), including enjoying the game of football that has influenced him since his childhood in Italy.  Included in recent photos he’s tweeted from a soccer-centric vacation was a shot in the ‘Venice Beach’ Nike Kobe 8 alongside Brazilian superstar Ronaldinho and wearing the ‘Mambacurial’ in a shot posed with the CBF’s up and coming Leandro Damiao.  Tons of foot power in this post, so click through for more images and stick with Sneaker News because the Kobe 9 isn’t too far off.

Kobe Bryant seems like the odd man out heading into the Playoffs. Not only is he sitting out with injury, but his shoes – the Nike Kobe 8 Elite – are releasing at a separate time than the Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 KD and LeBron. That’s because the Kobe 8 lifecycle isn’t Air Max 2012 Womens anywhere near an end, because along with this upcoming Purple Gradient colorway, there’s still the matter of that multi-colored version and that curious “Mambacurial” version that has yet to unfold. Many are calling these Kobe 8 “Purple Gradient” joints one of the best Kobes ever, so if you agree, be on the hunt when it officially hits stores on May 11th.

To honor the upcoming UAAP basketball tournament in the Philippines the Nike Kobe 8 will be releasing in a handful of exclusive colorways. This model features a predominantly black upper with a grey Swoosh, but the real interests lies in the red patterned midsole and matching lining that uses jagged lightning bolt-esque camouflage pattering. So far there’s not been any glimpse of hope regarding a release beyond the Philippines, but for what it’s worth we do have some more photos lined up. Take a look at those after the jump and tell us if you’re scheming on a pair of the new Nike Kobe 8 PP.

This Nike LeBron X Elite might be the most energetic take on the Heat colorway we’ve ever seen. You’ll recall that last year’s elite edition strayed pretty far from the conventional in its Heat look, wearing a taxi-yellow colorway. This time around total crimson dominates the upper, a shade that comes in reasonably close to the Heat’s signature shade of red. Get a couple of catalog shots below and remember that the Nike LeBron X Elite “Total Crimson” release date is June 8th.

Like just about all Off the Wall lowtops, the Slip-On’s simple construction and sweeping panels makes a great place to show off new patterns and prints.  This latest duo skips all the Nike Free Run 4.0 V3 animal and multicolor looks that’ve been so popular of late in favor of another style that itself will Nike Free Run + 2 resonate with current menswear trends.  These new Vans LP Slips show off the new low profile silhouette in a couple of stripe patterns that look like they’d be at home on a button-down shirt.  Check out both in more photos below and look for yours at Nike Free Run 3.0 V2 select Vans stockists in the near future.

Do you get that “Olive” vibe when you take a look at this brand new Jordan Melo M9 colorway? That’s not the exact shade used for their upper (It’s squadron green if you’re taking notes), but they still feel pretty similar to that Air Jordan IX colorway. Keep in mind that the Jordan Melo M9 had not yet made its debut when the aforementioned retro came back around in 2012, so it’s understandable that they weren’t a coinciding release. See more of the pair via the photos lined up for you below and grab them now if you please, courtesy of empire_sneakers07 on my stroes.
