"Anti-Spirit Machine" is latest taste off 'Light of Death'
Extreme-metal supergroup Umbra Vitae are gearing up to drop their first album in four years, Light of Death, and today (May 21st), they offered up a thrashy, D-beat new rager "Anti-Spirit Machine." The song follows up two previous singles, the doomy "Velvet Black" and the old-school death-metal "Belief Is Obsolete."
The quintet is comprised of vocalist-lyricist Jacob Bannon (Converge), guitarists Sean Martin (Twitching Tongues, ex-Hatebreed) and Mike McKenzie (The Red Chord), bassist Greg Weeks (The Red Chord) and drummer Jon Rice (Uncle Acid, Tsjuder).
