初めてメイン州に旅行した時に見た看板にそう書いてありました。
上手く日本語に出来ません。
しかし、理想の人生の姿がここにあるように思わせる表現。
その二年後にメイン州の住民となりました。
確かに、今まで出会ったメインの人達は皆、
この土地に住んでいる事を誇りに思っているようです。
ロブスターと松の木が有名で、北欧を思わせる地形が美しい。
人々は温厚で心遣いがある。
そんなメイン州での生活を気まぐれにご紹介します。
I saw this welcome sign on the road when I was one of the tourists in Maine.
Is there an ideal life style in this state...?
2 years later, I became a Maine resident.
As that road sign gives the impression, people I met here so far seem like they are honored to live in Maine.
Famous for Lobsters and Pine Trees. Beautiful landscape reminding of Scandinavia. Peaceful and Thoughtful people.
