Wif the recent uproar of cases abt cat abuse cases,
Joanne and I decided to blog abt
our fav lil furballs (⌒￢⌒*)
Hmm, reading the newspapers, I came across one article
which was abt the death of a kitten.
Apparently, the adorable critter was murdered in public!
Wif it's limps torn apart and thrown at the walls
like darts on the dart board, 
Thus was the fate of this cat 。・ﾟﾟ･(≧д≦)･ﾟﾟ･｡
How can anyone be capable of such a grotesque act
without anyone stopping him?ヾ(｡｀Д´｡)ﾉ
Picture this scenario =)
You were at that place at that time where that incident
was about to take place. You see that kitten in the hands of that madman, getting rdy to be decapitated.
Based on integrity alone, how would u feel?
What will u do? （ ・(ェ)・）
Most of us, being able to differentiate right from wrong, would be disgusted by such an act, and if within our means, try to stop that person from carrying it out =)
Well, that doesn't seem to be the case.
The 'bochap' attitude of many ppl, would have caused the downfall of this kitty
cos they would have felt it isn't their problem and its out of their league at that point of time.
'It's happening everywhere' they say..
Hmm, take a moment to ponder, should we feel guilty only after the monstrous actions have taken place? When it could have all been prevented =)
Prevention is better than cure (・ω・)/ when that life could have been salvaged ^^
However, there will be those that disagree wif me, labeling the cats as pests, objects of their hatred and frustration..
This brings us to the question, should the lives of stray cats be preserved?
Although I may like cats alot, I shall not give a bias view on this topic ^^
Yes, statistics show that there's an increasing number of stray cats in Singapore, what has contributed to that it?
Here's a few examples ^^
1) Cats which are kept as pets are abandoned by their owners
2) Feeding of stray cats
3) Allowing their pet cats to mix/breed wif the strays
It all comes down to the irresponsibility of people =)
There are many cat lovers that make it their responsibility to help the strays which turn up at their doorstep but there are many irresponsible cat lovers who leave these strays to roam and breed, saying it's not their problem
Stray cats pose a huge problem to society, some may carry harmful diseases or damage public properties ^^
Up til now, my point would be, we should preserve the lives of stray cats, afterall its still lives o(^-^)o
Cats that carry harmful diseases are usually those in poor health..
Eventually its up to us to take up the responsibility to help these poor things xD
But how ?_?
Hmm... We can either aid the cat welfare organisations or educate the public on being responsible cat lovers^^
