HJ's British Hairdressing Awards, sponsored by Schwarzkopf Professional, showcase the best hairdressing talent in the country, with work varying from the commercial to the editorial.

The Avant Garde Hairdresser of the Year category is for hairdressers who push their imaginations to the limit and create imagery that most people couldn't contemplate in their wildest dreams.

The winner of Artistic Team of the Year will be announced at the British Hairdressing Awards on November 22.
